the most meaningful parts of life aren’t perfectly planned—they’re lived.

Very little about my life has followed a traditional path—and that’s exactly why this work means so much to me.
I grew up on a sailboat, homeschooled on and off, learning early on that life doesn’t have to look one specific way. At 20, I packed a 40L backpack and spent six months traveling through South America—deep in the Amazon, volunteering with wildlife, and chasing experiences that felt bigger than anything I’d known before.

Those moments changed how I see the world.

They taught me that the most meaningful parts of life aren’t perfectly planned—they’re lived. They’re a little unpredictable. Sometimes uncomfortable. Always real.

That’s the same way I approach photography.
My work is rooted in a documentary, photojournalistic approach—seeing things as they unfold, rather than directing them into something they’re not. When you invite me into your day, I’m experiencing it alongside you, paying attention to the in-between moments just as much as the big ones.

I don’t believe in over-curating or forcing moments to look a certain way. I believe in presence. In letting things unfold. In creating space for something honest to happen.

Because the images that stay with you aren’t the perfectly posed ones—they’re the ones that feel like something.

I work best with couples who care more about how their day feels than how it looks—who are open, grounded, and willing to actually live it.

The kind of people who would choose wind, water, or open sky over a stuffy venue and minute-by-minute timeline. Who trust that the experience itself is enough.

Because at the end of all of this, it’s not the things that stay with you. It’s the experience—and how it felt to be there.
